Adrienne saw the need for a less labor intensive way of building with straw. In 2024 she and four co-owners founded Building Integrity (BI), LLC, Missouri’s first producer of prefabricated straw-insulated wall, floor, roof panels. BI is a participant in the “Seed Collaborative” – a growing collection of businesses across the country that are learning and evolving a straw panel design developed by Vermont-based New Frameworks.

Adrienne is passionate about bio-based materials’ potential for improving human health and sequestering carbon, now with greater speed and reach from off-site prefabrication!
